How can we help you?

Applications

Many people believe that previous convictions are an automatic bar to a career in security, but this is not necessarily the case. In many circumstances the SIA will consider additional factors about you before making a decision.

We can help you to present a compelling case for a licence, giving your application to the SIA the best possible chance of success.

Appeals

If the SIA has refused your application for a licence or revoked it for any reason we can help you with an appeal, usually argued on the basis that the SIA has misapplied its own guidelines.

Appeals are made to the Magistrates’ Courts – if the Magistrates refuse your appeal then there is a further right of appeal to the Crown Court.

We have an incredibly strong history of success in relation to these appeals, and can advise you on the strength and grounds of your appeal, giving you the best possible chance of success.

Criminal Allegations

Due to the the nature of their work, security professionals are distinctly vulnerable and open to false and or malicious allegations. Often, these are serious enough for the SIA to consider suspending your licence while the matter is investigated.

We can guide you through this process and help you deal with the SIA in order to keep you working. We can also assist you in your dealings with the police and represent you at court.
